Daily Routine of Cadets
Morning Routine: The day typically begins early at around 5:30 AM. Cadets wake up to the sound of a bugle call, followed by a series of physical fitness exercises. The morning physical training (PT) session includes running, push-ups, and other fitness drills. This is a crucial part of their routine, ensuring they maintain peak physical health.
Breakfast and Briefing: After PT, cadets head to the mess hall for breakfast, which is nutritious and aimed at sustaining their energy levels. Once breakfast is finished, a short briefing session is held where cadets are informed about the day’s schedule, including training activities, classes, and any special events.
Academic Training: After the morning briefing, cadets attend academic sessions. These could range from military strategy, history, and leadership to technical skills and survival tactics. Academic excellence is emphasized, as cadets are expected to excel both physically and mentally.
Afternoon Activities: The afternoon is typically reserved for field exercises, drills, and leadership training. Cadets practice formation marching, tactical exercises, and other hands-on skills. Leadership training is an essential part of their day, as they are often given the opportunity to lead their peers in various activities.
Evening Routine: The evening hours are spent either in study, personal reflection, or physical activities like swimming or gym workouts. Cadets are encouraged to balance their academics with their physical fitness.
Lights Out: After dinner, there’s some time for relaxation, followed by a final roll call. Lights are out by 10 PM, ensuring that cadets get adequate rest for the next demanding day.
